Martin Mur is a multi-media artist and filmmaker based in Zürich. His work combines a strong interest in unconventional narrative mediums with a distinctive and bold style for both personal and commissioned projects.

Through images, installations and time-based works he explores the idea of time representation, the relationship between cronological time and phenomenological time, and the exploration of time distortion methodologies to unpack the potential of our more immediate present time and trigger new forms of storytelling.

His work has recently been presented in institutions such as Kunsthaus Zürich, Helmhaus Zürich, Migros Museum, CCCB Barcelona, and the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, as well as in film festivals including DocsLisboa, Milan Machinima Festival, and FantaSci Short Film Festival. Martin continues to explore the intersections of contemporary art, cinema, and commercial work.
